When Balraj Sial was asked what it was about Deepti that made him decide to tie the knot with her, Balraj replied:
It was an easy decision for me. He understands my silence and the way he cared for me when I got sick on my birthday, he held my hand. Time will tell if it was the right decision or not (laughs). To be honest, when I saw her, I felt like I had to marry her. He is very discerning and knows the expressions of my heart before I speak. Also, when I introduced Deepti to my family, they loved it too. I think I don’t deserve such a beautiful girl. So before the other guys had a chance to catch the pandemic, I jumped at the chance and got married. “
Deepti’s husband credits his wife for the impact she has had on his life. She said,
Earlier I used to act or do what I felt but now my wife Deepti teaches me what to do and what not to do. He tells me what might be going against me and what will help me be a better person. Life has changed, but it has changed for good. It got better. I feel like there couldn’t be a better time to get married. For us (artists), when we decide to get married, we generally need to relax and spend time with our partner to prepare for the wedding. But because of the pandemic, we were already on break and didn’t have to take a vacation.”
On 12 October 2020, the couple released a song titled Maahi through their YouTube channel Realize Music. Deepti lent her voice to the song which was composed by Oye Kunaal. Footage of Deepti and Balraj’s wedding was used in the video for the song, released by Balraj’s own company Realize Music. The reason for releasing the song along with the wedding video was so that their families, friends and fans, who were unable to participate in the wedding rituals due to the pandemic, could see their marriage.
Relationships/affairs
Deepti first met Balraj at an event in 2016 and immediately felt a connection. Balraj proposed to her in January 2021 after talking to her for hours and feeling that she was the one. In turn, she took her time accepting his proposal. It is about the relationship with Dipti. Her current husband said,
I went for the shoot of Fear Factor: “Khatron Ke Khiladi” and was texting but didn’t get the desired response. It was during our trip to Turkey and Greece that we started a long conversation. I met him a few times after I came back and proposed on my birthday (January 26th) during our getaway to Goa. He was surprised and did not answer immediately.”
Career
Deepti Tuli began her career as a vocalist, performing at several local stage concerts and festivals. She made her debut as a contestant on StarPlus’ singing competition show ‘India’s Raw Star’. The judges of the show were Yo Yo Honey Singh and Himesh Reshamiya. Deepti’s singing quality mesmerized the show’s judges and viewers and thus earned her a lot of popularity. He has also featured in several YouTube music videos including ‘Kite Door’ and ‘Shukar Kar’.

In 2022, Deepti Tuli became a part of the Star Plus reality show ‘Smart Jodi’ along with her husband Balraj Sial. The program features 10 real-life married celebrity couples, including Neil Bhatt and Aishwarya Sharma, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain, Gaurav Taneja and Ritu Rath, Arjun Bijlani and Neha Swamy and Rahul Mahajan and Nathalie Mahajan, and shows these couples performing the title of Hell in different rounds. The show not only sees contestants complete tasks but also reveal details about their personal lives on national television. Deepti Tuli and Balraj Syal shared the same screen with this reality show. When asked about the experience of working together on the same project, Deepti’s husband replied:
When you work alone, you manage the difficulties in the shoot, but when you see your loved ones facing problems, you feel bad. If the shoot is hectic, there were times when I would skip food, but it is sad to see my wife eating. The reason I told the staff to make sure he eats on time. I am sure he will learn everything soon. I’m one of those people who lives in the moment. I never plan anything in advance. I always share what comes to mind.
