Ayesha has been interested in fitness since her teenage years and started training in mixed martial arts. She later competed in many kickboxing tournaments. She later started working as a fitness influencer and trainer and trained many people in breathing techniques and fitness.

Controversy
Mentally harassing Shikhar Dhawan
After their divorce, Ayesha Mukherjee and Shikhar Dhawan often posted defamatory posts against each other, particularly related to the custody of their son, Zorawar. Dhawan alleged that Ayesha was trying to defame him by sending messages to his friends, teammates, and other cricket officials from different cricket offices.

He also filed a police case against her to stop her from posting any messages on social media. On 4 October 2023, a family court in Delhi gave a verdict that Ayesha mentally harassed Shikhar Dhawan by keeping him separate from his son, Zorawar, for more than 3 years. The court also directed her to arrange Zorawar’s visit to India. The court also allowed Dhawan to spend time with his son, both in India and Australia, and talk to him on video calls.
