Tanya Bhatia is an Indian cricketer who plays for the Indian national cricket team, primarily as a wicket-keeper. At the age of 13, she became the youngest female cricketer to play for the Punjab team at the national level. Tanya Bhatia also known as Tanya Sapna Bhatia was born on Friday, 28 November 1997 (age 25 years; as of 2022) in Chandigarh, India. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. He did his schooling from DAV High School, Chandigarh. From 2022 she is pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree (second year) at MCM DAV College for Women, Chandigarh. Tanya grew up watching her father and uncle play cricket. His father played cricket at the university level in India in the 80s. He was also the backstop for Punjab in the late 80s. Naturally, he too was inclined towards sports and started training at a nearby cricket academy at the age of seven. Tanya made her domestic cricket debut in 2008, playing for the Punjab U-19 national team. At the age of 13, he became the youngest player to play for Punjab’s senior team in an inter-state domestic tournament. In 2015, he represented the U-19 North Zone team as the captain in the Guwahati Inter Cricket Tournament. He scored 227 runs and took 10 wickets in the tournament. When he turned 16, he joined the India A team and played in warm-up matches. At one point, he decided to quit the sport because he was in a professional slump for about two years. However, his family motivated him to pursue his cricket career. Tanya also played for the Supernova team in the Indian Premier League.

Tanya made her Women’s T20 International debut for India on 13 February 2018 against South Africa Women in Potchefstroom. That same year, on 11 September, she made her Women’s One Day International (WODI) debut against Sri Lanka in Galle.
She subsequently played for the Indian team in the 2018 ICC Women’s World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indies. In January 2020, Tanya represented India at the 2020 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia. On 16 June 2021, Tanya made her Test cricket debut for India against England in Bristol.
Bhatia has been named in the Indian squad for the 2022 Women’s Cricket World Cup in New Zealand in January 2022. That same year, Bhatia represented India at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
