In May 2018, she rose to fame for playing the lead role of Kamali in the TV show Kamali on Kannada. In an interview, Amulya shared her experience of getting recognition for TV show Kamal and said:
Although I have worked in a serial before, Kamal, it gave me recognition. People know me by my character name wherever I go. It’s a surreal feeling. Even though we faced a lot of errors during the peak days of Covid, we managed to strike a chord with the audience. It shows the strength of our teamwork.”
In May 2019, Amulya played the role of Hitha Pradhan in the television show Aramane Star Suvarna. In August 2021, she appeared in the TV show Punar Vivah on Kannada. In March 2022, Amulya made her debut in the Telugu television show Karthika Deepam, in which she played the role of Shuriya on Star Maa.
