According to Latah County Prosecutor Bill Thompson, Bryan was arrested in his home state of Pennsylvania and charged with four counts of murder in the first degree and felony burglary in connection with the stabbing deaths of four University of Idaho students in November.

CNN claims investigators eventually narrowed their focus to Kohberger after tracing the ownership of that Elantra back to him, according to two law enforcement sources briefed on the investigation.

Furthermore, Bryan’s DNA also matched DNA that was recovered at the crime scene, which explained that authorities believe Kohberger left the area and went to Pennsylvania after the crime revealed a reliable source.
