After his parents divorced, Krishna’s father married Shwetambari Soni, an Indian art connoisseur, in September 2021. The private ceremony took place amid the Covid-19 lockdown and remained in place for about a year. Speaking about his father and stepmother in an interview, Krishna said:
I haven’t been in a relationship and since I don’t live with him, I’ve spent a lot of time away from him, especially during lockdown. The relationship between me and my father is important and I am glad that it remains the same.

On December 4, 2022, Krishna got engaged to Vedant Sarda, a businessman. On 11 June 2023, the couple tied the knot in South Mumbai in the presence of family and friends.

In an interview, when talking about how they met, Krishna said:
It was love at first sight for both of them. Six months ago we met through a mutual friend and exactly six months later, on the same day, we got engaged. When we first met, we knew in that moment that we wanted to be together. It took us 24 hours to figure it out, a week for each other and another week for the parents. We told our parents that we found each other and after that we don’t want to look for anything or anyone.”

Krishna’s grandfather Praveen Bhatt is a famous cinematographer, director and screenwriter. He is known for his cinematography in Umrao Jaan (1981) and Agneepath (1990). Krishna Bhatt’s grandmother’s name is Varsha Bhatt. Since Vikram Bhatt was an only child, Krishna has no first cousins.

Krishna Bhatt’s great-grandfather, Vijay Bhatt, one of the pioneers of the Hindi film industry, hails from Palitani, Gujarat. Vijay Bhatt was an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter, well known for directing the popular Bollywood films Ram Rajya (1943), Baiju Bawra (1952) and Himalay Ki God Mein (1965). Director
Bhatt worked as an assistant director for ASA Productions on Haunted 3D (2012) and Creature 3D (2014). He worked as an assistant director at Vishesh Films, an Indian film company founded by Mahesh Bhatt, for the Bollywood films Mr. X (2015), Khamoshiyan (2015), Love Games (2016) and Raaz Reboot (2016). In 2016, Krishna made his directorial debut with a series titled Once with Vikram Bhatt which premiered on SonyLIV. He has directed several mini-series including The Untouchables (2018), Maaya 2 (2018), Maaya 3 (2019) and Sanak Ek Junoon (2021).

In 2020, he produced his first film titled Hacked starring Hina Khan and Rohan Shah. He has produced several serials including Shishveli (2020), Bisaat (2020) and Anamika (2022).

Confrontation
On 14 March 2023, K Sera Sera Box Office Productions Limited filed a case against Krishna Bhatt and his father Vikram Bhatt in the Mumbai Magistrate’s Court. The production company claimed that Vikram and Krishna promised them a cut of Rs 1.40 crore for the joint production, which they did not. K Sera Sera Productions has signed a contract with Vikram Bhatt Studios in March 2022. As per the agreement, they have decided to share the entire profit of their joint projects in which the producer has invested Rs 1,39,30,999. K Sera Sera Productions said the father-son duo used the money for another project. Amidst all this, Vikram Bhatt’s lawyer Rizwan Siddiqui denied all the allegations and said:
The FIR against my clients is absolutely baseless and baseless, so I will appeal the same before the Bombay High Court on merits. The same will soon be challenged in a petition for annulment before the HC. On the contrary, my client Vikram Bhatt has a serious case of forgery and fraud against Satish Ramswroop Panchariya and others who appear to have abused their dominant position in two different companies jointly owned by Satish Ramswroop Panchariya and my client Vikram Bhatt in equal proportions. Pancharya on record failed and neglected to inspect any documents relating to the said co-ownership companies to my client and instead desperately tried to settle the matter out of court. Pancharya even sent his representatives to my office to resolve the said matter on 14th April 2023. The mentioned issue is now being discussed substantially.”
