Husband & Children
Khushboo is unmarried and has no children. In an interview in February 2012, she mentioned that she was supposed to get married in October 2012. She revealed that a show coordinator offered her a role earlier in a television serial, which she accepted. In the promos of the show, she was portrayed as a married woman in conflict with her husband and in-laws. This led to public speculation that she had actually gotten married and was facing issues with her spouse and in-laws. In the interview, Khushboo explained that these rumours caused concern for her fiancé and his family. According to her, she attempted to address the situation with the show coordinator, but his response was unsatisfactory.
Khushboo initially worked as a theatre actor in Lucknow. According to her, she got her first role in a theatrical production after attending a three-month workshop. She later worked in many theatrical productions including a psychological thriller titled ‘Murder in the Shimla School,’ which was performed at Veda Factory in Mumbai on 18 April 2023.
Khushboo debuted in Bollywood with the film ‘Dabangg’ in 2010. In the film, she played the role of a journalist.
In 2013, she played a supporting lead role in a political action thriller film ‘Zila Ghaziabad,’ which starred Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, and Vivek Oberoi among others. In the same year, she appeared as a nurse in the film ‘Krrish 3’ and as Rosina D’Costa in the film ‘Ankur Arora Murder Case.’
Khushboo played the role of ‘Prachi’ in a short film titled ‘Kasturi…..In Search for Happiness’ in 2018. She played the titular role in another short film, Zoya, in 2020. She appeared in many other films including ‘Rambhajjan Zindabaad’ (2020) and ‘Satyameva Jayate 2’ (2021).
Khushboo Kamal made her television debut with Sahara One’s series ‘Piya Ka Ghar Pyaara Lage’ in 2012. She played the role of Pinky Malhotra in the series. In the same year, she made an episodic appearance as ‘Kavita Deshmukh’ in a crime show titled ‘Savdhaan India – India Fights Back,’ which aired on Life OK (now Star Bharat).
Khushboo played the lead role of ‘Maharani Karnawati’ in the historical fiction series ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap’ in 2015; the series aired on Sony Entertainment Television (SET). She later appeared in many other television series such as Badami in ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!’ (2016), Gulabia in ‘Jijaji Chhat Per Hain’ (2019), Rimjhim Das in ‘Barrister Babu’ (2021), and Bably in ‘May I Come In Madam?’ (season 2) (2023).
Khushboo Kamal made her digital debut as ‘Aaliya’ with the web series ‘Zero Figure’ in 2021. She appeared as ‘Ratna’ in the series ‘Jhumke,’ which premiered on Ullu, in 2022. Khushboo played the role of ‘Asha Lata’ in Amazon miniTV’s ‘Constable Girpade’ in 2023.
She received the Akhil Bhartiya Agnishikha Kala Gaurav Samman in 2020.
