Jeffrey Epstein Parents: Father Seymour And Mother Paula (Stolofsky) Epstein
Jeffrey Edward Epstein was born on January 20, 1953, in the New York City borough of Brooklyn.
Jeffrey Epstein parents, Seymour George Epstein (1916–1991) and Pauline “Paula” Stolofsky (1918–2004), were Jewish and had wed in 1952, just before he was born.
Pauline was a homemaker and a school aide. An old childhood friend of Epstein’s said, “Paula was a wonderful mother and homemaker, despite the fact that she had a full-time job.”
Seymour was a groundskeeper and gardener for the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation. The older of two children, Mark and Jeffrey were raised in the working-class Sea Gate area of Coney Island, Brooklyn.
Sea Gate was a private gated community. Mark was called “Puggie” by his parents, while Epstein was referred to as “Bear” by them. The Epstein family was regarded as “so gentle, the most gentle people” by their neighbors.
A female friend subsequently recalled, “He was just an average boy, very smart in math, slightly overweight, freckles, and always smiling.”

According to Patterson’s book, Epstein’s parents were Seymour and Paula (Stolofsky) Epstein, descendants of European immigrants, many of whose extended families would perish in the Holocaust.
Seymour first worked for his father’s home demolition business before transitioning to the New York City Parks Department. Paula also had a job.
Gary Grossberg, a longtime childhood friend of Epstein’s, said that despite working full-time, Paula was a good mother and housekeeper.
Epstein and his brother Mark were talented students with a passion for numbers. Epstein began playing the piano at a young age, and his friends thought he had musical skills.
Epstein’s features are softer and calmer in high school images than in portraits taken twenty years later.
