Miller was unlawfully in possession of a firearm on January 17, 2018, which led to his arrest. He was charged with the offense from January 2018 on February 25, 2021.
His initial hearing was on March 3. During the hearing, he apologized by saying, “I sincerely apologize for everything. I am, truly.”
Additionally, he informed the judge that he had the resources to retain his counsel and contacted Mark O’Mara, the lawyer who represented George Zimmerman.
Later, he hired a lawyer and free speech advocate, Norman Kent, according to Lawandcrime. He was refused bail on March 10 at his bond trial and was required to stay behind bars throughout the proceedings.
Miller entered a guilty plea to one count of possessing a handgun, ammunition, and an unregistered firearm on June 22, 2021.
Additionally, Prosecutors said in a press release that Miller “confessed that he had purchased the ammo and that he had attempted to manufacture his gun in part to learn about firearms production in preparation for a forthcoming civil war.”
Miller had published hundreds of internet posts in the months preceding his arrest, promoting his hatred for various minority groups and his advocacy for the outbreak of a race-based civil war in the United States.
Now, he was granted supervised release from prison on January 31, 2023.

After a vehicle accident made it impossible for him to continue fighting professionally, he eventually worked as a trainer and coach for The Institute.
Despite having a brief career, he won the titles of U.S.S. National Champion and Regional Light-Heavyweight Champion in the World Kickboxing Association.
Not to mention, his legal troubles began when he was taken into custody in November 2006 on charges of aggravated assault and in possession of a Remington AirMaster pellet gun.
According to New Jersey Spotlight, he was repeatedly detained for drug-related offenses the following year and given a five-year probationary period.
He doesn’t appear to have learned a lesson from his prior run-ins with the Police, so hopefully, three or more years in prison will help him develop new, non-racist priorities.
