Born in 1948, Boppana Satyanarayana (BS) Rao was 75 years old when he died while receiving treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad.
He founded Sri Chaitanya in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh with his wife after returning from his 16-year medical practice in the UK and Iran.
Rao had a goal of sending many students from Andhra Pradesh to IITs and with the help of his institute, he succeeded.
Its main goal was to improve the well-being of students, particularly girls, who had faced significant challenges due to limited knowledge about opportunities.
