Since July 26, 2022, Susana Morales Missing. According to Morales’ family, she contacted her mother that evening at around 9:40 pm to let her know she was headed home, according to the sheriff’s office. But she wasn’t home by 10 o’clock.
According to the authorities, the location app on her phone showed she was moving down a road toward her home between 10:07 and 10:21 pm. She might have entered a car nearby, according to investigators.

At about 6:30 pm, a passerby reported seeing what they thought to be human remains, and authorities said they were called to the forested area.
The Gwinnett Medical Examiner’s office received the remains, which were positively identified as belonging to Morales, whose cause and manner of death are still under investigation.
Her family has started a GoFundMe fundraiser to pay for funeral expenses. Jasmine Morales, her sister, expressed happiness that a suspect had been detained in connection with the crime.

A charge of kidnapping and murder has been brought against the former Doraville police officer who was detained as part of the investigation into the disappearance and death of 16-year-old Susana Morales.
Since last July, Morales has been reported missing. Miles Bryant, 22, of Norcross, was detained by Gwinnett detectives earlier this month on suspicion of concealing the teen’s death and then lying about it.

Five minutes later, her phone sent its last signal, updating her location to a spot on Oak Loch Trace, where she was last seen. Officials said that’s where her phone died and turned off.
Authorities initially classified her as a runaway and claimed there was no evidence that she was being held against her will or had been physically assaulted or kidnapped.
Early in February, her bones were discovered close to the border between Gwinnett and Barrow counties. According to the Police, Bryant dumped her naked body in the woods.
Warrants show that Bryant resided in the same neighborhood in Norcross as Morales’ family and the scene of her initial disappearance.
On July 27, 2013, he allegedly claimed that his personal automobile had been broken into and a gun was taken from it.
