Five minutes later, her phone sent its last signal, updating her location to a spot on Oak Loch Trace, where she was last seen. Officials said that’s where her phone died and turned off.

Authorities initially classified her as a runaway and claimed there was no evidence that she was being held against her will or had been physically assaulted or kidnapped.

Early in February, her bones were discovered close to the border between Gwinnett and Barrow counties. According to the Police, Bryant dumped her naked body in the woods.

Warrants show that Bryant resided in the same neighborhood in Norcross as Morales’ family and the scene of her initial disappearance.

On July 27, 2013, he allegedly claimed that his personal automobile had been broken into and a gun was taken from it.
