He studied up to the 9th class at Saraswati Modern School, Ludhiana, and senior secondary education at Bahadur Chand Model Public School, Shastri Nagar, Ludhiana. When Siddharth was 12 years old, he began participating in theatre plays organised by his school and realised that he was good at acting while doing a school play called ‘Report Card.’ His teachers liked his performance a lot, and this motivation encouraged him to pursue acting as a career. After that, Siddharth Dhanda joined other cultural activities at school to get better at acting. Siddharth once received the chance to go to the UAE for a youth festival, where he won three prizes for acting and dancing. After completing his school education, in 2010, Siddharth Dhanda moved to Mumbai from Punjab to pursue his dream of becoming an actor.

  • In an interview with a media outlet, he once said that during his school days, he was getting more into acting, and was diverted from schoolwork. He added in the same discussion that received a role in the television serial “Chandragupta Maurya” on NDTV Imagine without ever attending an acting school. Siddharth Dhanda said,

    I came from Punjab to become an actor in 2013 and since then I have been doing television shows. Chandragupta Morya was my first TV show for which we shot in Gujarat and that felt like an acting school for me where I learnt a lot. I never went to a formal acting school and I have learnt about acting on the job.”
