Ted valued his family more than anything. He was a loving parent, which was the only job he was ever meant to do. When he smiled, he glistened. And his smile illuminated everything around him. 

He was happiest close to the water and in the sunshine. He was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island in Long Beach, New York.
