The Covenant School is a private Christian school which is based in the Green Hills neighborhood where pre-kindergarten through sixth graders are educated.
With an average enrollment of 200 pupils, it was established as a ministry of Nashville’s Covenant Presbyterian Church in 2001, a local chapter of the Presbyterian Church in America.
Unfortunately, the Covenant School, in Nashville, Tennessee, the United States, experienced a mass shooting on 27th March 2023.
Three schoolchildren and three staff were among the seven fatalities. Police responded to the shooting and fired and killed the shooter, Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, a former student.

Nashville Shooting Victim: Who Was William Kinney?
Authorities in Nashville, Tennessee, have named the six victims of a fatal gunshot at a private school.
At the Covenant School, a Christian institution for early childhood through sixth-grade students, three staff members and three children were killed on Monday.
Evelyn Dieckhaus, 9, William Kinney, 9, Hallie Scruggs, 9, Cynthia Peak, 61, Mike Hill, 61, and Katherine Koonce, 60, were the victims, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
William Kinney was a 9-year-old kid who was studying at The Covenant School. Audrey Elizabeth Hale, a Nashville resident who authorities claim identified as transgender, was named as the shooter.

Hale attended the institution from a young age and had no prior criminal history. The Tennessean reported that Audrey identified as a trans guy and used male pronouns.
Furthermore, the 2023 Covenant school shooter was given the female identity at birth, according to a police spokesperson, but on her LinkedIn profile, she used masculine pronouns.
Hale attended the Nossi College of Art and Design and worked as a graphic designer and an illustrator. She was living with her parents, as per a neighbor.
When detectives investigated Hale’s home, they discovered a manifesto and a detailed map of the school with possible entrances.
Moreover, before committing to the shoot, Hale is said to have conducted research. According to police, Audrey considered attacking another place but decided against it because of the level of security there.
She was shot on spot by the police officers.
William Kinney’s Wikipedia Age And Family

The Bureau of Tobacco, Alcohol, Explosives, and Firearms, and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Metro Nashville Police Department with the investigation into the shooting.
Two shotguns, one of which had been sawed off, as well as other evidence, were taken following the execution of a search order at Hale’s home.
