Manish Wadhwa started his acting career in 1999 as a theatre artist in commercial theatre. In the theatre plays ‘Maa Retire Hoti Hai’ and ‘Dr. Mukta,’ he has appeared in a lead role alongside Jaya Bachchan. He has also performed in a comedy play titled ‘Hum Le Gaye Tum Reh Gaye’ with Jaaved Jaaferi.

Manish Wadhwa debuted in the film industry with the film ‘Rahul’ (2001) in which he played the role of Rohit Singh.   • He wanted to become an actor since childhood. He started performing in theatrical production in his college days and has also the Best Actor Award 5 times in Inter-Collegiate Drama Competitions.
  • While studying in college, he participated in a comedy show named ‘Khatta Meetha.’
  • In 1992-1993, he performed in the Hindi play ‘Sati’ in an Inter-Collegiate Drama Competition held by the Indian People’s Theatre Association (IPTA) in Mumbai. He also won the Balraj Sahani Trophy and University’s Best Actor Award for his performance in the play.
