Heeral started her professional training in roller skating at a very young age under the coaching of a Government school physical education lecturer Rahul Kaush. She has participated in and won many national and international championships. In 2022, she competed in the 36th National Games held in Gujarat, where she earned two silver medals and one bronze medal in roller skating.

Heeral participated in the World Championship held in Italy from 26 August 2023 to 3 September 2023, where she earned 10th rank in the 15 km skating race. Heeral Sadhu represented India at the 19th Asian Games (2023) held in Hangzhou, China. She won a bronze medal for roller skating in the women’s speed skating 3000 m relay race event along with her teammates Karthika Jagadeeswaran and Aarathy Kasturi Raj. Sanjana Bathula was the fourth member of the women’s team in the event but didn’t compete.

The women’s trio finished in third place with a time of 4 minutes 34.861 seconds, while Chinese Taipei earned the gold medal with a time of 4 minutes 19.447 seconds and South Korea drew silver with a time of 4 minutes 21.146 seconds. Earlier, Heeral finished in seventh place in the women’s speed skating 10000m point-elimination race. In an interview, Heeral expressed her happiness to win the medal at this young age. She said,

This is my first Asian Games. I’m just 17, and I’m really happy we got a team medal.”
