Domestic

Gus Atkinson played for Surrey Under-13 in 2011, Surrey Under-14 in 2012, Surrey Under-15 in 2013, and Surrey Under-17 in 2015 in age-group tournaments. He also played school cricket for Bradfield College from 2013 to 2016, Bradfield College Under-17 in 2015, and Bradfield Waifs in the 2017-18 Cricketer Cup.

He played for Spencer Cricket Club in the Surrey Premier League in 2014 and 2016. In 2016, he started playing for Surrey Second XI and Surrey All Stars and represented Hampshire and Surrey Second XI in 2018 in domestic competitions.  He suffered three successive stress fractures in his back in 2017, 2018, and 2019 which impacted his career. When he fully recovered from injuries, he started making a name for himself in the domestic circuit.
