Bakhtiar Irani is an Indian actor, dancer and entrepreneur known for appearing in daily soaps and reality shows on Indian television. She gained recognition after participating with her husband Tannaz Irani in the Indian dance reality show Nach Baliye Season 2 on Star One in 2006.

- In an interview, Bhaktyar spoke about how she developed an interest in dance and pursued a career as a dancer, saying:
I started dancing in eighth grade. My brother used to choreograph Alisha Chinai’s show, and I remember taping the fast-forward act for him during rehearsals! All the training helped me realize that this is what I wanted to do. Then I performed at South Filmfare Awards where Prabhu Deva noticed me and complimented me. In 1996, Farah Khan selected me to appear in the Miss World pageant and soon I was a part of films like KKHH, Dil Se etc.

- In 2016, while shooting for the TV show Badi Dooooor Se Aaye Hai, Bakhtiar had to shoot a scene in which he had to refer to a fellow actor as fat and comment on her weight. Even though the scene was scripted, Bakhtiar could not comment on her weight and consequently lost 20 kg of body weight and went from 90 kg to 70 kg in two months. In an interview, talking about how she couldn’t comment on her weight, Bakhtiar said:
An uncle who had to deliver dialogues on stage had to comment on my big waist and huge body frame. I asked Aatish to change the lines as I was not fat. He asked me to take it easy, but I couldn’t, so I went on a diet for two months. I went from 90 kilos to about 70 kilos in two months. I did it just to prove that I’m not fat and no one can call me fat, even if it’s part of the script.”
