Satish Kaushik died at the age of 66 on March 8, 2023. His close friend Actor, Anupam Kher, first confirmed the news of his death via Twitter.
Kher and Kaushik were friends for 45 years, and he shared his tribute on Twitter, confirming his death worldwide.
In his post, he added, “I know “death is the ultimate truth of this world!” But I never thought in my dreams that I would write this thing about my best friend #SatishKaushik while alive. Such a sudden full stop on a friendship of 45 years!! Life will NEVER be the same without you, SATISH! Om Shanti!”

The 66-Year-Old Veteran Actor Satish Kaushik Died Of Heart Attack
Satish Kaushik passed away on March 08, 2023, and recent reports claim the veteran filmmaker’s sudden death reason is a heart attack.
Many sources thought the 66-year-old actor died due to a natural cause; however, recent updates surfaced around the Internet showing he suffered a heart attack.
According to Hindustan Times, Satish was in his friend’s home in Delhi when he felt uneasy and told his driver to take him to the nearest hospital.
As per the statement given by Anupam Kher to PTI, “He felt uneasy and he told driver to take him to the hospital and on the way he suffered a heart attack around 1 am,” ahead of his sudden death.

Kaushik left his family behind, living alone with his wife and daughter. Satish got married to Shashi Kaushik in 1985.
The couple shared two children, and their son died at two in 1996. After then, they did surrogacy and had a daughter, Vanshika Kaushik, in 2012.
