Career

Manjeet Dahiya started playing kabaddi in 2014. He joined the Indian Army under sports quota in 2016. He played kabaddi for services on national level in 2017 and 2018. He participated in the Federation Cup Kabaddi Championship in 2018 and won. In the same year, Manjeet made his debut in the Pro Kabaddi League by joining Patna Pirates in season 6. He scored 102 points with a 46% rate of raid strikes and 39% of tackle strikes in the season. In 2019, he was acquired by Puneri Paltan for Rs. 63 lakh in the 7th season of Pro Kabaddi League. In the season, he bagged 151 points with a 46% rate of both raid strikes and tackle strikes. In 2021, Manjeet represented Tamil Thalaivas, which picked him for Rs. 92 lakh for season 8 in which he scored 167 points with a 49% rate of raid strikes and 35% of tackle strikes. He was acquired by Haryana Steelers for Rs. 80 lakh in season 9 of the league in 2022; Manjeet scored a total of 153 points in the season with a 54% rate of raid strikes and 42% rate of tackle strikes. In 2023, he was sold to Patna Pirates for Rs. 92 lakh for season 10 of the Pro Kabaddi League; his jersey number for Patna Pirates is 10. In the same year, Manjeet participated in the 37th National Games, which was held in Goa, and secured a position. While playing for the services, he represented ‘Army Red’ at the 49th Inter Services Kabaddi Championship in March 2023; he won the championship.
