Gannon Stauch Father Al Stauch And Mother Letecia Stauch

Eugene’ Al’ Stauch and his estranged wife Letecia were the parents of murdered Colorado boy Gannon Stauch. His father talked with News5. The interview was taken in honor of his son.

Al said he was out at some training in Oklahoma, received a call, and was reported missing. He recalled the moment from January 27, 2020.

What Happened To Gannon Stauch?

On January 27, 2020, Gannon Stauch was reported missing by his stepmother, Letecia Stauch, who said Gannon left home between 3:15 pm and 4 pm and went to a friend’s house in Colorado Springs.

During that time, his father was on a National Guard deployment. Later, Letecia was arrested for her stepson’s murder two weeks before her stepson’s body was found beneath a Florida overpass.

During a preliminary hearing, Sgt. Rosario Hubbell of the El Paso County, Colorado Sheriff’s Office attested that Letecia’s DNA was found on a 9mm handgun discovered in the Stauch family’s home and that a forensic exam resolved that a bullet lodged in Gannon was shot on his head from the same gun.

Investigators believe that Letecia killed Gannon in his bedroom around 2:15 pm on January 20, 2020. Authorities have suggested Letecia was unhappy in her marriage and upset about being treated like an unpaid babysitter.

Letecia pleaded not guilty because of insanity in the case. The jury selection of 12 members and six subs took two weeks. The trial has already begun and is expected to last at least six weeks. So, more details about the case will be updated soon.
