Evan Lambert Arrested At Ohio Governor Press Conference

A television reporter for NewsNation, Evan Lambert, was arrested during a news conference held in Ohio on Wednesday in front of cameras. 

Gov. Mike DeWine was speaking at the conference when Lambert bothered to talk, and the local law enforcement personnel asked him to be quiet, but the reporter did not take the order seriously. 

Then, he was detained on camera; after the arrest, the governor explained himself, saying he did not request Police to stop him. 

The governor said, “It has always been my practice that if I’m doing a press conference, someone wants to report out there and they want to be talking back to the people back on channel, whatever, they have every right to do that,”

Since the incident, Lambert has been arrested and is facing disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing.

Although DeWine confirmed that he did not order to arrest of him, he only wanted to make his point in front of people, which was blocked by the reporter, Lambert.

The photographer and videographer at the conferences mentioned that he was asked to keep quiet for some time.

Is NewsNation Reporter Evan Lambert In Jail?

After being arrested, Journalist Jordan Miller confirmed Lambert remains in the Columbiana County Jail for the night, and the decision will be taken tomorrow. 

Officers took Evan Lambert to the ground and handcuffed him; the video of him being arrested has been seen. 

Law enforcement didn’t immediately act on the comment, as the governor shared the Tweet, mentioning he did not ask them to arrest the report, so he might not spend much time in jail.

In the video, Evan was dragged out of the conference; he was seen saying, “just trying to do my job,” to the people watching and shouting at the cops.
